Do Something Scary

I had been encouraged by some of my co-workers to share my story with the writers of our company’s internal newsletter The Source. I had to think about it before approaching them as it was a new kind of scary to let people know about my writing on a wide-scale at work. However, they do like to share stories about activities employees are involved in outside of work from time to time, so I decided to submit my story idea.

They responded saying that they would like to write the story with the spin of how one employee spent her time during the pandemic. Since I am not sure I would have had time to learn all the ins and outs of editing, publishing and marketing a book without the slowdown that was forced upon all of us, I thought that was a great idea.

They have sent some questions to answer and I have run my responses through Grammarly to ensure they read well. We’ve also taken a few pictures, as they’ve requested, to send along. I will be submitting them today and we will see how it goes.
