Making Decisions Easier

Are you most stressed when you have to make a decision on something important? I am. Especially when there is a significant cost involved and even more so when you aren’t sure how much that expense will be.

I experienced this when deciding to move forward from writer to author. From simply writing a book to telling the world about it and getting it ready for sale.

I experienced this again in September when trying to decide whether to make the financial commitment to enroll in Amy Porterfield’s Digital Course Academy or create a course on my own. I knew there would be additional costs over and above that to get it online. So, not only was I spending on the training, I was committing to the expenses that would be coming afterwards.

I spent this past week immersed in Module 5, and it is a heavy one. The 💩 has hit the fan, and although I can continue to work through the content, I will have to figure out what technology I will be using.

I’ve done some analysis on what the options are and how much they are going to cost. Pay for ease or save and work with a more cumbersome solution? This research takes me back to a year ago when I was deciding on my website hosting platform, editing, cover design, and email service provider.

As a newbie, it was hard, and I wanted to share what I had learned so it would be easier for others. All the options available drive me crazy!

It is a real reminder of why I wanted to put together a course on self-publishing and offer advice on the best solutions for the best price.
