A Lesson in Patience

I was able to upload the files to Amazon on May 24 and order the proof copy of Northern Escape.

Unfortunately, for some silly reason, Amazon doesn't deliver proof copies to Canada. The book must be officially published before it can be mailed to a Canadian author (but you really shouldn't publish it until you have the proof copy to review).

For this reason, this first print of the book has made the long trip from Middleton, Delaware, where it was printed, to my sister-in-law in Phoenix, and is now making the slow truck ride to Saskatoon.

It has been a lesson in patience, that is for sure!
