Would You Like a Signed Copy?

I had had a few requests for signed copies of my book. It made me chuckle, but I soon realized that this was important to people who knew me. It was flattering and made the experience more personal, for sure. I advertised the opportunity over Facebook and then took the orders by email and text. I also set up a form on my website that documented those that requested a copy through a Google doc form. Once that was ready to go, I put this message on Facebook.

"Please let me know if you would be interested in a signed copy of Northern Escape.

To order yours, go to www.cindyfolkauthor.com/books and fill out the form there."

I did not offer signed copies through Instagram because of the cost to ship; due to the width of the spine, it would cost approximately $15 to ship anywhere in the United States or Canada. However, if I had a personal request, I was happy to oblige, but it wasn't something I wanted to do for the masses.
