Reason to Write #1: You Know You Have More to Offer the World

I believe many of us feel we are not using our skills and abilities to our fullest potential. I know I felt that way for many years—it felt like I was wasting my talents. There was more to me than a cog in the wheel of showing up, doing my job and going home. Through writing, I had the opportunity to show another side of myself—not just wife, mother, daughter, sister, or employee. It provided a venue through which I could do more and share who I uniquely was.
