Why do you want to become a self-published author?
Do you have a personal story to tell?
Do you have a story in your head just waiting to be put to paper?
Do you have a unique skill set that you want to teach through a book?
Do you want to create a book that you can read to your children or grandchildren?
Do you want to leave a legacy?
Or, do you want to challenge yourself to do more?
Spend a few minutes writing about your WHY.
While you think about that, consider where are you now and where you see yourself next month? Next year? In five years?
