Life Got in the Way

Over the next few months I didn’t accomplish much. Life got in the way and I knew I would have to put my head down and focus.

In June, I booked two nights at the Hilton downtown and treated myself to a weekend of review.

It was nice but frightening.

I bounced from section to section until I felt secure enough to tackle it head on.

When I got to the end, I cried happy, proud, accomplished tears. It can’t be terrible if I felt this way, can it?

Lesson learned: working with a red pen instead of a computer doesn’t save you any time.
