Delivering Those Signed Copies

By the time I began delivering the signed copies of Northern Escape, most of us in Saskatchewan had been given the opportunity to get our COVID vaccinations, and with the province opening up again, the timing of those deliveries couldn’t have been better!

I had a chance to see some faces that I hadn’t seen in well over a year. We visited on front porches and back yards, and it was awesome! The things you don’t appreciate until they are gone . . . And now, fortunately, they are starting to come back.

I made a driving trip to Regina to see some co-workers and deliver some books there, then took about six evenings to deliver books around the Saskatoon area from home. On weekends up at the family cabin in Waskesui, I was able to sign some copies for friends up there.

It took some effort, for sure, but it was really special to have the chance to visit with everyone.
