Making a Book Trailer
Just yesterday I read that a book trailer is a good way to build excitement prior to a book launch. I am still a couple of months away from that happening but I thought I’d do a little research on how to make one. I poked around and watched a few videos but wasn’t able to find one that didn’t require an investment in software. I wasn’t willing to spend any money on this as I considered it a nice to have and not a necessity. One of the videos—I wish I could remember which one—mentioned the iMovie app you can download for free to an Apple product, so I started there.
It turns out making a book trailer isn’t that hard or expensive. I made a minute long trailer with the iMovie app and free Pixabay pictures as well as a one or two of my own. For now I will just give you a few screen shots to build a little suspense!
